Overview
The Pioneer GM-DX871 is a Class-D mono amplifier rated 300 W RMS at 4 ohms, 500 W RMS at 2 ohms, and 800 W RMS at 1 ohm (1% THD). A variable low-pass filter, 50 Hz bass boost, speaker-level inputs, and a wired bass remote support dedicated bass-speaker systems. Dual 40 A fuses protect the power section.
Product details
Compact mono Class-D power
GM-DX871 delivers CTA-style continuous power of 300 / 500 / 800 W RMS into 4 / 2 / 1 ohm loads at 1% THD, with maximum ratings up to 1600 W at 1 ohm. The compact chassis uses high-current parts and gold-plated RCA inputs for a clean signal path into a single-channel bass system.

LPF, bass remote, and speaker-level inputs
A variable low-pass filter (40–240 Hz, −12 dB/oct) and 50 Hz bass boost help tune the low end. Speaker-level inputs let the amp work with factory radios that lack RCA outputs. The included wired bass remote adjusts level from the front of the cabin. Frequency response is 10 Hz to 240 Hz.

Install notes
Run appropriately sized power and ground cable for an 800 W RMS 1-ohm capable amp, and fuse at the battery. Dual 40 A fuses are on the chassis. Confirm your bass speaker’s RMS rating and impedance before connecting.

Important notes
- Match continuous amp power to your bass speaker's RMS rating and impedance.
- Use adequate power/ground wire and a battery-side fuse sized for this amplifier.
- Speaker-level inputs are for signal only—still provide proper 12 V, ground, and remote turn-on.
- Mount on a solid surface with airflow; do not cover the heatsink.
