Soundstream BX-10 Digital Bass Reconstruction Processor
Para-bass restoration with dash remote and PFM filter
$99.99
Overview
The Soundstream BX-10 is a digital bass reconstruction processor that restores low-frequency content lost in recordings. Sweep sets the center frequency between 27 Hz and 63 Hz, Width adjusts the Q around that center, and the included dash remote controls the bass equalizer output from the driver’s seat. A PFM subsonic filter switch offers 35 Hz, 50 Hz, and 80 Hz settings.
Product details
Digital bass restoration with para-bass control
Soundstream’s BX-10 injects restored low-frequency information back into the signal path and contours it with a para-bass equalizer. The Sweep control selects a center frequency from 27 Hz to 63 Hz, and Width sets how narrow or wide the boost band is around that center so you can tune for music taste and enclosure response.

Dash remote, PFM filter, and balanced inputs
A dash-mount remote with LED feedback is included so you can raise or lower bass output without leaving the driver’s seat. The PFM subsonic filter switch selects 35 Hz, 50 Hz, or 80 Hz to help manage cone excursion and amplifier power. Balanced RCA inputs are designed for high signal voltages up to 15 V RMS, with maximum output rated at 13.5 V peak.

Published electrical performance
Per the Soundstream owner’s manual, frequency response is 10 Hz to 100 kHz (±1 dB), total harmonic distortion is 0.003%, signal-to-noise ratio is −130 dB, and balanced-input noise rejection is greater than 60 dB. Input impedance is 10 kΩ, output impedance is 150 Ω, power draw is 150 mA, and a 1 amp fuse is included. Bass output jumpers select 2.5 V, 5.0 V, 7.5 V, or 10 V settings for different amplifier input ranges.
