2-way color LCD confirmation
The primary remote uses a color LCD with command confirmation and system feedback so you can see when the vehicle responds. The 2-way remote includes a USB-C charging port. A companion 1-way 5-button remote is included for backup or secondary drivers. Owner’s guide lists the 2-way remote as P/N 7957V and the companion as P/N 7657V.
Remote start, keyless entry, and security
Arm/lock, disarm/unlock, remote start, AUX/trunk, and panic are available from the remotes. Built-in security includes starter interrupt, impact sensing with Warn Away and Full Trigger behavior, flashing parking lights, and a six-tone siren. Antenna with integrated valet switch and LED is part of the system.
SmartStart Pro path and install
The 5908V is VIPER SMARTSTART PRO compatible for optional smartphone/GPS connectivity (module and service plan sold separately). Due to system complexity, Directed requires installation by an authorized dealer. Limited lifetime warranty is stated on the official product page.
