Compact Punch powered bass
PS-8 is Rockford’s Punch 8-inch powered sealed enclosure for under-seat and tight-space installs. A shallow 8-inch Punch driver is matched to a built-in 150 W RMS Class-D amplifier in a closed-loop design. Frequency response is 25 Hz to 150 Hz. The cast-aluminum enclosure with ABS backplate also acts as the heat sink. Short-circuit, thermal, and reverse-polarity protection are built in. Power input uses a removable connector for easy service.
Controls and connections
A remote bass level control is included. On-board controls cover a variable 50–120 Hz 12 dB/octave Butterworth low-pass crossover, adjustable bass boost, and a 0° / 180° phase switch. Low-level RCA and high-level left/right summed inputs are supported. Auto turn-on selects remote, DC offset, or signal sense. Quick-disconnect power and signal connectors ease removal.
