A Kevlar fiber-reinforced paper cone, StampCast basket with spider venting, and rubberized ABS trim ring make it a straightforward entry into Punch bass. Punch P1 fundamentals
Rockford Fosgate rates the P1S4-15 at 250 watts RMS and 500 watts max into a single 4-ohm voice coil. Sensitivity is 87 dB at 1 W/1 m (90 dB at 2.8 V/1 m). The Kevlar fiber-reinforced paper cone, high-temp Nomex-reinforced voice coil, and linear spider with embedded 16 AWG tinsel leads handle everyday bass duty without requiring exotic amp power. Custom 10-AWG nickel-plated push terminals accept heavy speaker wire for a solid connection.
Basket and trim
A StampCast basket with integrated spider venting, extended pole piece, and bumped vented backplate support the motor during long listening sessions. A protective PVC textured magnet cover and rubberized ABS trim ring are included; the trim ring accepts an optional grille insert such as the P1G-15, sold separately. FlexFit-style mounting slots help with baffle alignment in crowded installs.
