Overview
Build a high-output bass system around the Rockford Fosgate T2500-1bdCP Power Series Class-bd Constant Power mono amplifier. It is rated 1500 watts RMS at 4 ohms and 2500 watts at 2 ohms or 1 ohm. bdSYNC strapping, MasterSync, Punch bass, and simulated VU meters support serious multi-amp layouts. Plan on 1/0 AWG power cable and a 300 Amp fuse (sold separately).

Constant Power for big mono systems
T2500-1bdCP is built for high-output subwoofer duty. Rockford rates it 1500 W x 1 at 4 ohms and 2500 W x 1 at 2 ohms or 1 ohm. Constant Power Class-bd topology is designed to hold output as impedance drops, so a dual-coil or multi-woofer load still sees serious continuous power. Frequency response is 20 Hz–250 Hz with a 24 dB/octave low-pass from 35–250 Hz and a fixed infrasonic filter aimed at protecting the cone.
bdSYNC strapping and MasterSync
PowerSync lets two T2500-1bdCP amplifiers strap together for 5000 watts x 1 at 2 ohms when one chassis is not enough. MasterSync can put one amp in charge of an array so levels stay coordinated. Blue LED simulated VU meters track signal and battery voltage at a glance. A 0°/180° phase switch and Punch bass (0 to +18 dB at 45 Hz) help tune the enclosure after the wiring is done.
Electrical requirements
Plan on 1/0 AWG power and ground, a 300 Amp fuse (not included), and a stout charging system—Rockford suggests a 200 Amp alternator class supply for this level of continuous draw. Average music current draw is 175 A. An optional remote PEQ overrides the built-in Punch bass when you want dash-mounted control of the boost.
