Shallow Prime bass, ready to wire
R2S-1X12 is Rockford’s Prime shallow single 12-inch loaded enclosure for under-seat and behind-seat installs that cannot clear a deep box. The cabinet loads one Prime R2SD4-12 shallow woofer and is internally wired for a 2-ohm amplifier load. Continuous power handling is 250 W RMS / 500 W max. Pair it with a mono amplifier that is stable into 2 ohms and sized for the woofer.

The enclosure is built from 5/8-inch MDF and covered in high-density carpet. External wedge dimensions are 13.5 × 27.375 × 5.25 inches at the bottom and 3.25 inches at the top (34.29 × 69.53 × 13.34 / 8.26 cm). High-current binding posts accept up to 12-AWG speaker wire. Shipping weight is 24.6 lb (11.15 kg).
