A Kevlar-fiber-reinforced paper cone, StampCast basket, and linear spider suit sealed or vented boxes in cars and trucks. Mounting depth is 6.0 inches. A soft-touch ABS trim ring is included; the optional grille insert is sold separately.

Classic Punch P1 12-inch, 4-ohm SVC
P1S4-12 is Rockford’s Punch P1 12-inch single 4-ohm woofer for systems that want simple wiring and known enclosure volumes. Continuous power handling is 250 W RMS / 500 W max (CEA-2031). Sensitivity is 86 dB at 1 W/1 m (89 dB at 2.8 V/1 m). Fs is 25 Hz with 9.0 mm Xmax—the same motor size as the 2-ohm sibling, just a different coil impedance.
Construction
A Kevlar-fiber-reinforced paper cone and high-temp voice coil with spun-laced Nomex reinforcement collar handle continuous bass duty. A linear spider with embedded 16 AWG tinsel leads, extended pole piece, and bumped vented backplate support controlled excursion. StampCast basket construction includes integrated spider venting. Custom 10-AWG compression terminals accept large wire.
Fit and enclosure
Mounting depth is 6.0 inches (152.4 mm) with an 11.22-inch (285 mm) cutout. Suggested sealed volume is 1.02 cu. ft. (28.8 L) and vented at 1.79 cu. ft. (50.6 L). The soft-touch ABS trim ring is included and accepts the optional P1G-12 stamped mesh grille insert (sold separately). A single 4-ohm coil pairs cleanly with many mono and multi-channel amp channels.
