Punch P2 15-inch bass
P2D4-15 is Rockford’s Punch P2 15-inch dual 4-ohm woofer for sealed or vented systems that want large cone area at a mid-tier price. Continuous power handling is 400 W RMS / 800 W max (CEA-2031). Dual 4-ohm voice coils wire for 2-ohm or 8-ohm at the amp. Sensitivity is 86 dB (1 W/1 m). Fs is 20.9 Hz with 12.2 mm Xmax. Magnet weight is 81 oz (2.30 kg).
Cone, motor, and basket
A Kevlar-fiber-reinforced paper cone pairs with a high-temp voice coil that uses a spun-laced Nomex reinforcement collar. Dual linear spiders with embedded 16 AWG tinsel leads, an extended pole piece, and a bumped vented backplate manage heat and excursion. StampCast basket construction includes integrated spider venting. Custom 10-AWG nickel-plated push terminals and a protective PVC textured magnet cover finish the motor package.

Mounting depth is 7.34 inches (186.5 mm) with a 13.9-inch (353 mm) cutout. Rockford lists sealed volume at 1.58 cu. ft. (44.7 L) and vented at 2.66 cu. ft. (75.3 L). Woofer displacement is 0.134 cu. ft. (3.8 L). Shipping weight is 17.9 lb (8.11 kg). The diamond-cut cast aluminum trim ring is included and accepts an optional stamped mesh grille insert (sold separately).
