Choose Constant Power in a mid-size chassis with the Rockford Fosgate T1000-1bdCP Power Series Class-bd mono amplifier. It is rated 700 watts RMS at 4 ohms and 1000 watts RMS at 2 ohms or 1 ohm. A 24 dB/octave low-pass, infrasonic filter, Punch bass, and RCA pass-thru support focused subwoofer installs. It uses 4 AWG power connectors and needs a 150 Amp fuse, which is sold separately.

Constant Power in a mid-size chassis
T1000-1bdCP brings Power Series Constant Power behavior to a 1000-watt mono package. Ratings are 700 W x 1 at 4 ohms and 1000 W x 1 at both 2 ohms and 1 ohm, so output stays strong as the load drops instead of falling off with impedance. Class-bd MOSFET stages and a convection-cooled chassis are aimed at continuous bass duty in sealed or vented enclosures.
Steep filters for subwoofers
The low-pass crossover sweeps 35–250 Hz at 24 dB/octave for a steep cut above the bass band. An infrasonic filter rolls off at 12 dB/octave with a -3 dB point at 28 Hz to reduce wasted excursion. Punch bass adds 0 to +18 dB at 45 Hz, and an optional remote PEQ can take over that control when you add it to the dash.
Connections and power plan
One RCA pair in and one RCA pair out support pass-thru to a second amp. Power and ground use 4 AWG block connectors; speaker outputs accept 8–18 AWG. Plan on a 150 Amp fuse (not included) and about 70 A average music current draw. Shipping weight is 12.2 lb, so the chassis is still manageable for many under-seat and trunk layouts.
