The Kenwood KSC-PSW7EQ is a compact powered enclosed subwoofer with a built-in Class-D amplifier and Active EQ Technology. It uses an 8-1/4 x 5-1/2 inch aluminum-cone driver, reaches 160 W max power, and tunes with a wired remote for volume, frequency, phase and HEAVY / TIGHT / FLAT EQ. The low-profile enclosure is sized for tight spaces such as under a seat.

Compact powered bass
The KSC-PSW7EQ packs an 8-1/4 x 5-1/2 inch (200 x 130 mm) aluminum-cone driver with a urethane surround into a low-profile plastic enclosure. A built-in Class-D amplifier delivers 160 W max power into a 1-ohm load, with 40 Hz to 200 Hz response (-15 dB) and 89 dB sensitivity at 1 m. The enclosure measures 11 x 2-3/4 x 7-7/8 inches (280 x 70 x 200 mm) and weighs 5.7 lb (2.6 kg).
Active EQ and wired remote
Kenwood’s Active EQ Technology offers HEAVY, TIGHT and FLAT presets on the included wired remote. The remote also sets volume, low-pass frequency from 50 to 125 Hz (-18 dB/oct) and phase (0 or 180 degrees). The remote cable is 16 ft (5 m) long so you can mount the control within reach.
Flexible signal inputs
Speaker-level and RCA line inputs are included so you can connect to a factory radio or an aftermarket head unit. Signal-sensing turn-on starts the amp from speaker-level or RCA signal, and the unit switches inputs automatically. Operating voltage is 14.4 V (11-16 V allowable) with a 10 A fuse and 5.9 A maximum current draw. Mounting brackets and power cords come in the box for a straightforward install.
