Trail and water radios often struggle far from transmitters. The PMX-ANT is Rockford Fosgate’s amplified AM/FM/weather-band antenna for PMX head units and similar 12-volt systems. When powered from 9–16 VDC it provides up to 20 dB of signal boost; unpowered it passes RF at 0 dB so you are not stuck if the power lead is unused.
Tape-mount install, short idle draw
The compact housing measures about 0.96 × 1.11 × 3.89 inches and mounts with double-sided tape. A quick power connector speeds the 12-volt hookup, and idle current stays under 20 mA. Antenna cable is 8.4 feet (256 cm); the power lead is 3.58 feet (109 cm). Operating temperature is rated from −30°F to 70°F.
