Overview
The Kenwood eXcelon P-HD4UT is a plug-and-play audio package for select 2014-up Harley-Davidson Ultra and related Glide models. It includes two XM160-2 Class-D 2-channel amplifiers, four 6.5-inch speakers with grilles, mounting brackets and the CA-HRN14UT harness. The amps accept speaker-level OEM or aftermarket inputs without a radio flash and shut off below 10.5 V to help protect the bike battery when the engine is off.

Built for Ultra and Glide platforms
The P-HD4UT package brings Kenwood eXcelon motorcycle audio to select 2014-up Ultra Classic and related Street Glide / Road Glide applications covered by the XM160-2 instruction manual. Two compact XM160-2 Class-D amplifiers power the system without a radio flash, taking speaker-level inputs from the OEM radio or an aftermarket source so the factory radio can stay in place while the amplifiers drive new speakers.
Four 6.5-inch speakers and mounts
The KWU kit photos show four 6.5-inch speakers with matching grilles and mounting brackets for fairing and rear locations in the XM65F / XM65R family. Kenwood’s kit listing also includes the CA-HRN14UT harness so the amplifiers and speakers plug into the bike’s harness layout with Road Glide and Street Glide style mounting parts in the pack.
Battery-aware Class-D power
Each XM160-2 is a 2-channel Class-D amplifier designed for motorcycle electrical systems. Kenwood’s manual describes an automatic shutoff if voltage falls below 10.5 V, then restore when voltage recovers, to help protect the battery when the bike is not running. Use speakers rated 2 ohms or greater as specified for the amplifier, and plan FM reception carefully when stacking multiple Class-D amps near the radio antenna on a motorcycle.
