Fairing speakers for classic Road Glides
1998–2013 Road Glide fairings take a different speaker package than later bikes. The TMS6RG is cut specifically for those fairing locations: a neodymium ring-magnet motor, carbon-fiber-reinforced polypropylene cone co-molded to a Santoprene VAST surround, and a Santoprene front isolation spider that helps seal weather away from the motor. An ultra-high-temperature glass-reinforced polymer frame holds the assembly rigid in the fairing.
Tweeter, crossover, and hardware
Each driver uses an ultra-efficient 25 mm dome tweeter with an integrated phase plug and a built-in 6 dB crossover with a high-power polyester capacitor. Integrated spade terminals speed the hookup. Grilles and a hardware pack ship in the box so you are not hunting trim separately. Frequency response is 56 Hz–20 kHz; sensitivity is 94 dB at 2.83 V/1 m (91 dB at 1 W/1 m).
Power and fitment check
Power handling is 75 W RMS and 150 W max at a nominal 4-ohm impedance, with a 1.40-inch (35.6 mm) voice coil. Confirm your Road Glide is a 1998–2013 model—later fairings use different Rockford speakers. Professional fairing work is recommended when swapping factory drivers. A poly-cotton spider and high-power 35 mm voice coil support the neodymium motor when highway volumes climb inside the fairing.
