Pioneer TS-A879 3.5″ A-Series Plus 2-Way Coaxial Speakers

Higher-power 3.5-inch coaxials

When a compact opening needs more continuous power than a basic 3.5-inch set, TS-A879 offers 100 W RMS / 450 W peak on 4 ohms. Sensitivity is 85 dB with Open & Smooth A-Series voicing.

IMPP to PEI through 850 Hz

The Injected Molded Polypropylene cone hands off to a polyetherimide tweeter through an 850 Hz packaged crossover, spanning 52 Hz to 33 kHz for clearer midrange in small panels.

Same shallow footprint

Mounting depth remains 1-3/8 inches. These still target compact openings — confirm cutout size and keep continuous power near 100 W RMS if you are amplifying them.
