Overview
The GNRL-STAGE2 is Rockford Fosgate’s Stage 2 audio kit for 2016+ Polaris GENERAL side-by-sides. It builds on Stage 1 with a PMX-2 compact digital media receiver, the RFGNRL-PMXDK dash installation kit, RFGNRL-FSE front speaker enclosures, and a pair of RM1652B 6.5-inch Element Ready speakers. Amps, a subwoofer, and an antenna are sold separately. Estimated install time is about one hour when you follow Rockford’s instructions.
Product details
Stage 2 sound for the GENERAL
Cab speakers alone leave a GENERAL quieter than most riders want. The GNRL-STAGE2 packages Rockford Fosgate’s Stage 1 radio path with front speaker enclosures and RM1652B 6.5-inch speakers so you can hear music over trail noise without jumping straight to amplifiers and a sub. Direct-connect harnesses are designed for GENERAL models, and the enclosures are shaped to keep passenger space intact.
What ships in the kit
You get a PMX-2 AM/FM/WB digital media receiver with a 2.7-inch color display, the RFGNRL-PMXDK dash installation kit, a pair of RFGNRL-FSE 6.5-inch front speaker enclosures, and a pair of RM1652B Prime marine-grade 6.5-inch full-range speakers in black. Element Ready construction stands up to dust, water, and UV on open-air machines. Estimated install time is about one hour when you follow Rockford’s instructions.
What to buy separately
An AM/FM/WB antenna is not included—pair a PMX-ANT or similar when you need stronger reception. Amplifiers and a subwoofer enclosure belong to later Stage kits if you want more output. Confirm your GENERAL is a 2016+ model compatible with this package before ordering. Keep the antenna path and any later Stage amplifier wiring in mind when you route the harness through the GENERAL dash.
