Three drivers, one 6×9 opening
Factory 6×9 cutouts leave room for more than a simple coax. The P3V2-69C2 puts a Punch P3 component woofer in that opening and adds a dedicated coaxial midrange with a 3/4-inch Tetolon inverted-dome tweeter. Rockford rates the system at 75 watts RMS and 150 watts peak into 4 ohms. Sensitivity is 89 dB (1 W/1 m) or 92 dB at 2.83 V, with response listed from 49 Hz to 25 kHz.
Materials built for daily miles
Each woofer uses a mica-reinforced polypropylene curvilinear cone and a Santoprene half-roll surround that is chemically co-molded to the cone body. A glass-fiber-reinforced PA66 composite basket, Nomex spider, and vented Kapton voice-coil former round out the motor stack. The midrange path includes a high-pass bass blocker, while the woofer sees an external 1.2 kHz low-pass and the tweeter an internal 9 kHz high-pass.
Fitment notes
Updated mounting flanges are designed for direct fitment in newer vehicles. Woofer front-side clearance is 0.42 inches. Grilles are not included, so plan trim rings or factory grilles if you need a finished look. Confirm your amplifier can deliver clean power near the 75-watt RMS rating before you install.
