Punch Pro midrange for high SPL
PPS4-10 is Rockford’s Punch Pro 10-inch 4-ohm midrange for competition and high-output systems that need clean midbass punch. Continuous power handling is 350 W RMS / 700 W max. Sensitivity is 96 dB (1 W/1 m). Frequency response is 40 Hz to 4 kHz. Nominal impedance is 4 ohms. Sold as a single driver; buy a second unit for left/right pairs.
Construction
A fiber-reinforced high-strength paper cone with a treated W-style surround and corrugated treated cloth surround manage large excursions. The fatigue- and tear-resistant poly-cotton spider and periodic-stitched lead wire support continuous high-output use. A high-temp aluminum voice coil and billet machined aluminum phase plug complete the motor package. All-metal spring terminals accept solid connections.
Fit and package
Mounting depth is 4.17 inches (106 mm). The stamp-cast aluminum frame includes the grille and mounting hardware in the box. Shipping weight is 22.2 lb (10.06 kg). Pair with Punch Pro tweeters and crossovers when building a full Pro component set. Crossover and enclosure design are sold separately and should match the midrange’s power and bandwidth.
