Rockford Fosgate rates the R2-300X4 at 50 watts x 4 into 4 ohms, 75 watts x 4 into 2 ohms, or 150 watts x 2 when bridged at 4 ohms. Total rated power is 300 watts. Frequency response covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz with THD+N under 1% at 4 ohm and 2 ohm loads. Class-D topology and a cast aluminum heat sink keep the chassis compact at about 1.9 by 6.8 by 10.1 inches.
C.L.E.A.N. setup and crossovers
Front and rear variable input gains, a 2/4-channel input switch, and C.L.E.A.N. input/output indicators help set levels without a scope. Fully adjustable 12 dB/octave Butterworth high-pass and low-pass filters cover 50 Hz to 250 Hz on front and rear, with an all-pass option. Balanced differential RCA inputs include pass-through outputs, and high-level Molex inputs support factory radios. An auto-sense bypass switch helps with retained-accessory-power vehicles.
Wiring checklist
Power wire gauge is 4 AWG with a recommended 60 A fuse not included. Speaker outputs use 8 AWG compression terminals. Operating voltage is 9–16 VDC. Speakers and a remote bass knob are sold separately—this amp has no built-in Punch Level Control. Confirm bridge versus stereo loads before setting gains.
