Rockford Fosgate rates the P2D4-10 at 300 watts RMS and 600 watts max with dual 4-ohm voice coils you can wire for 2-ohm or 8-ohm loads at the amplifier. Sensitivity is 84 dB (1 W/1 m) with Fs near 30.8 Hz and Xmax of 11 mm. The Kevlar fiber-reinforced paper cone, high-temp voice coil with spun-laced Nomex reinforcement, and dual linear spider with embedded 16 AWG tinsel leads are built for hard daily use in sealed or vented enclosures.
Motor and basket
A StampCast basket with integrated spider venting, an extended pole piece, and a bumped vented backplate help manage heat and excursion under continuous power. Custom 10 AWG nickel-plated push terminals accept large wire. A protective PVC textured magnet cover and diamond-cut cast aluminum trim ring are included; an optional stamped mesh grille insert is sold separately for finished installs.
Enclosure targets
Recommended sealed volume is 0.59 cubic feet (16.7 L). Vented volume is 1.4 cubic feet (39.6 L). Mounting depth is 5.92 inches (150.4 mm) with a 9.13-inch (232 mm) cutout. An amplifier and enclosure are sold separately. Confirm final impedance against your amp before wiring the dual coils in series or parallel.
