P1S4-10 is the 10-inch single 4-ohm model in Rockford’s Punch P1 family. Continuous power handling is 250 W RMS / 500 W max (CEA-2031). Sensitivity is 85 dB at 1 W/1 m (88 dB at 2.8 V/1 m). A single 4-ohm voice coil keeps wiring simple for many mono and multi-channel amp channels that prefer a moderate load.
Construction
A Kevlar-fiber-reinforced paper cone and high-temp voice coil with spun-laced Nomex reinforcement collar handle continuous bass duty. A linear spider with embedded 16 AWG tinsel leads, extended pole piece, and bumped vented backplate support controlled excursion. StampCast basket construction includes integrated spider venting. Custom 10-AWG nickel-plated push terminals accept large speaker wire without adapters.
Fit and enclosure
Mounting depth is 5.33 inches (135.4 mm) with a 9.14-inch (232 mm) cutout—shallow enough for many under-seat and compact sealed boxes. Suggested sealed volume is 0.59 cu. ft. (16.7 L) and vented at 1.4 cu. ft. (39.6 L). The soft-touch ABS trim ring is included and accepts an optional stamped mesh grille insert that is sold separately.
