CEA-2006 power is 25 W × 4 at 4 ohms, with Bluetooth, USB charging, AUX input, and CANbus connectivity for NMEA 2000 systems via PMX-CAN. Antenna and display controller are sold separately. The PMX-8DH display controller is required and sold separately for day-to-day control.
Product details
Hide the radio, keep the zones
Dash space on boats and UTVs is scarce. The PMX-8BB tucks an automotive-grade AM/FM and weather-band digital tuner into a black-box chassis you mount out of sight, then control from a PMX-8DH display head. Multi-zone and multi-source operation lets each area of the boat run independently, with selectable high-pass and low-pass crossover points per zone.
Bluetooth, USB, and CANbus
Bluetooth A2DP/AVRCP 1.4 streams from phones with simple secure pairing for Android and iOS. Made for iPhone certification covers wired Apple playback, and licensed Pandora control works over USB or Bluetooth depending on the device. USB charging is onboard. CANbus support connects to NMEA 2000 networks when you add the PMX-CAN interface. Steering-wheel-control ready inputs simplify helm integration.
Power and install basics
CEA-2006 power is 25 W × 4 at 4 ohms RMS at ≤1.0% THD+N into 2-ohm-capable speaker outputs. Operating voltage is 10.5–16 V with a 15 A fuse. Frequency response is 20 Hz–20 kHz. An antenna is not included—add a PMX-ANT or similar. The PMX-8DH controller is required for display and control and is sold separately. Remote capacity depends on Rockford’s compatibility chart—confirm how many PMX remotes your black-box install will support before you buy extras.
