Product details
12-inch SVC A-Series bass
TS-A120S4E keeps wiring simple with a single 4-ohm coil while still offering 400 W RMS / 1,400 W peak. Sensitivity is 87 dB, which helps extract output from mid-power amplifiers.
Glass-fiber IMPP and 48 mm coil
A glass-fiber reinforced IMPP cone and rubber surround stabilize the moving assembly, and Pioneer calls out a 48 mm voice coil for stronger low-frequency drive. Fs is 32.1 Hz with 8.25 mm Xmax across 22 Hz to 1.6 kHz.
Box volumes and depth
Pioneer lists about 1.25 cu. ft. sealed and 1.5 cu. ft. ported. Mounting depth is 5-3/8 inches (13.65 cm). Build or buy an enclosure that matches those volumes and feed the woofer near 400 W RMS.
