Overview
The Kenwood eXcelon XR600-6DSP is a 6-channel car amplifier with a built-in 192 kHz/32-bit DSP, made for upgrading factory sound systems. It delivers 75 watts x 6 RMS at 4 ohms or 100 watts x 6 at 2 ohms, with a 13-band graphic EQ, crossovers and digital time alignment. Setup is done by Bluetooth with the Kenwood DSP Control app, and it works with iDatalink Maestro AR.

Six channels of power
The XR600-6DSP is rated at 75 watts x 6 RMS at 4 ohms, 100 watts x 6 at 2 ohms, or 200 watts x 3 when channels 1 and 2, 3 and 4, and 5 and 6 are bridged. Its CTA-2006 rating is 75 watts RMS x 6 at 4 ohms with 1% THD or less and 81 dBA signal-to-noise. Frequency response runs from 20 Hz to 50 kHz, and the standard signal-to-noise ratio is 95 dB.
Built-in DSP tuning
A 192 kHz/32-bit DSP gives a 13-band graphic EQ, a parametric EQ, crossovers in 1/6-octave steps and digital time alignment from 0 to 20 feet. You make adjustments with the Kenwood DSP Control app over Bluetooth 4.0. An operation mode switch selects Pro Mode for installers or User Mode for the driver, and settings are kept if the unit is reset.
Made for factory systems
The amp connects to a factory radio through an ADS input harness, with input sensitivity from 2 to 8 volts, and works with iDatalink Maestro AR. Both are sold separately by Automotive Data Solutions, and features vary by vehicle. RCA line outputs can feed another amplifier. Two 40 A fuses protect the circuit, and the USB port is for software updates only. It measures 12-5/8 x 2 x 6-5/8 inches.
