Overview
The Rockford Fosgate P1V2-68 is a pair of Punch P1 6×8-inch 3-way coaxials rated at 75 watts RMS and 150 watts peak into 4 ohms. A 3/4-inch Tetolon inverted-dome tweeter and co-witnessed 3/8-inch piezo ride above a mica-reinforced polypropylene cone with Santoprene surround. Updated mounting flanges, a removable motor cover, and an ICC+ 6 dB/octave crossover help them drop into modern factory openings. Grilles are sold separately.

3-way Punch for 6×8 openings
Many trucks and cars still use a 6×8 factory cutout. The P1V2-68 fills that space with a true 3-way Punch P1 coaxial: mica-reinforced polypropylene midrange, 3/4-inch Tetolon inverted-dome tweeter, and a 3/8-inch co-witnessed polypropylene piezo for extended highs. Rockford Fosgate rates the pair at 75 watts RMS and 150 watts peak into 4 ohms, with response from 45 Hz to 25 kHz and 88 dB sensitivity (1 W/1 m). VAST 2.0 surround design is intended to increase effective cone area for stronger midbass from the same opening.
Modern fitment details
Updated mounting flanges and a removable motor cover are aimed at current vehicles. Mounting depth is 2.61 inches with the motor cover (2.37 inches without); cutout is 7.19 × 5.18 inches. An ICC+ concealed 6 dB/octave high-pass at 9 kHz steers the tweeter without an external network. A glass-fiber-reinforced PA66 basket, Nomex spider, and vented Kapton former round out the motor.
