Overview
The Rockford Fosgate P2D2-12 is a Punch P2 12-inch subwoofer with dual 2-ohm voice coils and 400 watts RMS power handling (800 watts max). A Kevlar fiber-reinforced paper cone, StampCast FlexFit basket with spider venting, and diamond-cut cast aluminum trim ring deliver classic Punch bass for sealed or vented boxes. Sold as a single woofer; an enclosure and optional grille insert are not included.

Punch P2 performance
Rockford Fosgate rates the P2D2-12 at 400 watts RMS and 800 watts max with dual 2-ohm voice coils for 1-ohm or 4-ohm wiring at the amp. The Kevlar fiber-reinforced paper cone, high-temp voice coil with Nomex reinforcement, and dual linear spider with embedded 16 AWG tinsel leads are built for everyday Punch output in sealed or vented boxes. Custom 10-AWG nickel-plated push terminals accept large speaker wire without adapters.
Basket and cooling
A StampCast basket with integrated spider venting, extended pole piece, and bumped vented backplate help keep the motor cool under hard use. A protective PVC textured magnet cover is included. FlexFit slotted mounting holes make it easier to align the woofer in tight baffles. The diamond-cut cast aluminum trim ring ships with the woofer and accepts an optional mesh grille insert sold separately.

Mounting depth is 6.40 inches (162 mm) with an 11.22-inch (285 mm) cutout. Recommended sealed volume is 1.02 cu. ft. (28.8 L); vented is 1.79 cu. ft. (50.6 L). Sensitivity is 86 dB (1 W/1 m), and shipping weight is about 15.6 lb (7.07 kg). Match your amplifier’s 1-ohm or 4-ohm ratings to how you parallel or series the dual coils.
