Power T1 12-inch performance
T1D412 (Power T1D4-12) is Rockford’s Power Series 12-inch dual 4-ohm woofer for high-output sealed or vented systems. Continuous power handling is 800 W RMS / 1600 W max. Dual 4-ohm voice coils wire for 2-ohm or 8-ohm at the amp. Sensitivity is 85 dB (1 W/1 m). Fs is 29.2 Hz with 16 mm Xmax. Magnet weight is 123 oz (3.48 kg).
Cone, motor, and basket
A Kevlar-fiber-reinforced paper cone pairs with an anodized aluminum heat-sinking dust cap. The high-temp voice coil uses a spun-laced Nomex reinforcement collar on an anodized aluminum former with copper-clad aluminum wire. Symmetrical dual progressive-roll tear-resistant poly-cotton spiders and periodic-stitched tinsel leads manage excursion. A rigid die-cast aluminum basket, optimized pole piece and spider venting, and proprietary 8-AWG insulated all-metal spring terminals round out the motor package.
