The Rockford Fosgate P2V2-69HO is a Punch P2 6×9-inch 2-way convertible speaker pair built as a 2-ohm high-output upgrade for many OEM systems. The P2V2-69HO pairs 6×9-inch midbass drivers with 3/4-inch Tetolon inverted-dome tweeters at a nominal 2-ohm load for direct high-output OEM replacement. Rockford Fosgate rates the set at 75 watts RMS and 150 watts peak, with a 45 Hz to 25 kHz response and 90 dB sensitivity (1 W/1 m). An Interchangeable Locking Mechanism (I.L.M.) lets you run the tweeter on the woofer as a coaxial or move it to the flush or surface cups and install the phase plug for a component layout.
Coax or component in one kit
Internal ICC+ crossovering at 6 dB/octave covers coaxial installs. When you separate the tweeter, the included HO passive networks provide a 12 dB/octave high-pass with 0 dB or −3 dB attenuation. Cutout is 8.41 by 5.71 inches; mounting depth is 2.55 inches without the motor cover and 3.13 inches with it. Front-side clearance is 0.42 inches.
What holds up under power
VAST 2.0 surrounds, mica-reinforced polypropylene cones, Santoprene half-rolls, Nomex spiders, and a glass-fiber reinforced PA66 basket are the Punch P2 recipe here. A removable motor cover helps in shallow doors, and co-molded basket terminals keep the connections solid. Grilles are not included; the kit ships as a pair with hardware, wiring pieces, and a cutout template.
