zBox FDS Dual Face-Down Shallow Subwoofer Enclosure
Sealed dual-sub shallow box that fires toward the floor
Price range: $119.99 through $139.99
Overview
The zBox FDS is a sealed dual-subwoofer enclosure built for tight spaces. It is a shallow, face-down cabinet: the subs mount on the underside and fire toward the floor, with side legs that leave room for cone travel. Carpeted MDF construction and a side terminal cup come standard. Available in 8, 10 or 12 inch — pick the cutout that matches your woofers. Sold empty — subwoofers and amp are not included.
Product details
What it is
FDS stands for a dual shallow face-down box from zBox in the USA. It is a dual sub shallow box (face down). Two cutouts sit on the firing face; when the enclosure sits on its legs, that face points down so bass couples into the cabin floor rather than shooting straight into a seat back.
Build and finish
The cabinet is MDF wrapped in charcoal automotive carpet. A recessed spring-terminal cup on the side panel handles wiring. Chambers are sealed — no ports — for controlled, predictable response with shallow-mount drivers.
Sizing
Choose 8, 10 or 12 inch cutouts at checkout. Confirm your subwoofer’s mounting depth and sealed-volume needs before you order; this listing is the empty enclosure only.
