Boosted Rail mono in a tiny chassis
PBR300X1 is aimed at compact subwoofer systems where chassis depth is limited. Rockford rates continuous power at 75 W x 1 at 4 ohms, 150 W x 1 at 2 ohms, and 300 W x 1 at 1 ohm under CEA-2006 rules. Patented Class-BR circuitry stores energy and dynamically boosts rail voltage so the amp can deliver that 300-watt rating without a large traditional heat sink footprint.
Setup for factory or aftermarket sources
A high/low input switch and 4-pin harness accept speaker-level or low-level signal. Variable DC-offset sensitivity helps the amp turn on from many factory radios without a remote wire. The low-pass crossover sweeps 35–250 Hz at 12 dB/octave. An optional Punch EQ remote (sold separately) adds 0 to +18 dB at 45 Hz when you want dash control of the boost.
Electrical plan
Plan on 10 AWG power wire on detachable compression terminals and 16 AWG speaker wire on a 4-pin harness with dual positive and dual negative terminals for easy dual-coil wiring. Frequency response is 20 Hz–250 Hz. Plan a power kit and fuse that match the amp’s current draw before you install.
