Punch sound for 4×6 openings
Many older and midsize vehicles still use a 4×6 factory cutout. The P1462 fills that space with a Punch 2-way coaxial rated at 35 watts RMS and 70 watts max into 4 ohms. Sensitivity is 90 dB (1 W/1 m), and frequency response runs from 90 Hz to 22 kHz. Midrange mounting depth is 1.81 inches (46 mm), so most shallow doors and rear decks can accept the pair.
FlexFit baskets and OEM adapters
Each driver uses an injection-molded mineral-filled polypropylene cone with a butyl rubber surround. The 0.75-inch tweeter carries its own high-pass, so you are not mounting an external network behind the panel. FlexFit slotted mounting holes and an included 6×8 adapter plate help the speakers seat when factory holes are oblong or slightly oversized.
Install planning
The P1462 ships as a matched pair with mounting hardware and the adapter plate. Grilles and trim rings are not included. Confirm your amplifier or head unit can deliver clean power near the 35-watt RMS rating before you tear into the doors. Mounting hardware ships in the box with the adapter plate.
